At the heart of this kit is the 10.5ft mast — three sections of carbon and aluminum, pin-connected, with a full complement of Dyneema stays and sail control hardware already installed. The forestay cleats at the cockpit, the traveler is set, the cam cleat is ready. When your sail arrives, rigging it is the last step, not the first project.

The outrigger platform — inflatable Amas, sectional Akas, carbon deck plates — provides the stable trimaran foundation the sail rig demands. The forward Aka includes stainless eyebolts, compatible with a wide range of sail stay configurations including Pacific Action lateen rigs.

The 10.5ft mast is a capable, well-mannered rig. It will not overpower in the hands of someone learning the system, and the mast rake is fully adjustable via the Dyneema shrouds. When you are ready for more, the 14.5ft mast extension kit adds one section and brings the full sailing height without replacing what you already have.

This kit is also a platform for creativity. Small windsurf rigs drop straight in. Custom sail plans — lateen sails aft, jibs forward, multiple sail configurations — can be developed and tested. Mast and rigging:

• Dyneema shrouds (Aka stays) with shackles — adjustable length, eye-spliced ends; set mast rake and provide full triangulated mast support
• 4mm cord Ama center stays — balance upward mast load across both Akas
• Cleated forestay with front pulley — mast raises and lowers from cockpit
• Sail control pulley and cam cleat system
• 4mm cord traveler with brass hardware
• All required shackles and attachment hardware

Platform:

• 2× Akas — 9.5ft+ assembled span; larger center section + smaller outer sections, stainless spring-pin connected; forward Aka includes stainless eyebolts
• 2× Nomadic inflatable Amas — hydrodynamic profile, low drag
• Carbon deck plate set — forward mast base plate with Aka clamp; rear compact plate with Aka clamp and seating support
• 8mm stainless mounting bolts and thumb nuts — 8 total, Allen key installation

Carry and storage:

• Heavy duty carry bag — approximately 48" × 14" × 14", full-length #10 zipper, 3 circumference straps

Upgrade path:

• Add the 14.5ft mast extension kit — NMX-MAST-EXT14
• Add a Nomadic fully battened sail — 10.5ft or 14.5ft
• Add the Balanced Wing Rudder and leeboards for full sailing performance

Compatible sails: This platform accepts a wide range of sail configurations. Nomadic battened sails are the natural match. Pacific Action lateen rigs are also compatible via the forward Aka eyebolts.
